We will build, and the Lord will prosper us

I. Beloved in the Lord, grace to you, and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. This quarter, we need to hear Nehemiah's call to rise up and build for the Lord. The challenges, obstacles, hindrances, wars, and threats of wars around us impose a spiritual responsibility on us to rise and build. It is time to build a life around those who are cast down by circumstances. This quarter is for getting up and setting our energies to build. We cannot sit unconcerned again, but we must work together. Let us rise up and rebuild the broken walls. Nehemiah's vision and passion for rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem must motivate us to look beyond the broken walls and see the possibilities of rebuilding. The Lord will bless your handiwork. If you sow, God will water it, and it will germinate, grow, and yield fruits for your harvest. Without planting, there will be nothing to harvest.

II. SON of Man, this month, let us call on the people to rise up for the mission. Let us lead in the rebuilding efforts. Let us share the idea and the message to rise and build. We must rally the people together, and through unity of purpose and determination, we can rebuild the walls. To rise up, you shall encounter obstacles like Sanballat and Tobiah, who will oppose and mock you and your mission. Let us look beyond them; let us look at God, who has sent us on the mission. "We will build, and the Lord will prosper us." Remember that as we build for ourselves and our families, we must also build for the Lord. We are builders for the Lord. We must build on the foundation of Jesus Christ. In due season, our work will be tested, but with God's help, we will succeed. Rising up in faith.

III. Daughter of Zion, hold on to your faith in the Lord. The walls of Jericho fell in faith. Are you facing any walls of Jericho? Don’t doubt the ability of God to deliver you from the ashes. Even in that low place, you find yourself now, God can and will turn things around for you to rise up. That Jericho in your office shall fall. That Jericho in your family shall fall, and they shall fall. You can rise up and build with faith. Trust in God's power and promises. Let us rise up and build for the Lord. This month, you shall be like Nehemiah. This month, trust in God's vision and promise. You will overcome obstacles and opposition, but your work shall be a testimony to God's faithfulness. Let us build on the foundation of Jesus Christ. The Prophet Nehemiah had a mission and a burning desire not to allow God’s city to be ruined, so he mobilized the people to rebuild the city. This quarter, I encouraged you to put in extra effort to build that marriage and work to restore it.

IV. My beloved sisters and brothers, this month, get on your knees and pray for change. The Prophet Nehemiah, after praying, strategized and worked day and night. Rebuilding demands much effort; let us get to work, and God will crown our efforts with prosperity. To change the paradigm, you will meet opposition; you will encounter status quo protectors and defenders. You will pass through a camp of people who will laugh and make a mockery of your efforts. You will meet people who have passed the death sentence on your project, saying it cannot be done. You will come into contact with people—friends, family members, and others—who will doubt your ability to fulfill the mandate. We will build, and the Lord will prosper us. IT IS TIME TO STRENGTHEN YOURSELF IN THE LORD AND MOVE FORWARD, THE PEOPLE WILL DRAW YOU BACKWARD.

V. 2024 MY YEAR TO ENCOUNTER DIVINE STRENGTHEN OF GOD TO RISE AND BUILD - This quarter, let us rise up and rebuild what the enemies have destroyed. Let us stand up together and work to transform the family. Let us come together with one purpose: to develop together.

PRAYER: LORD, this month we need your help to overcome our fears, doubts, and obstacles and to trust in your promises and power. LORD, this month as we rise up to build, may we build on the foundation of Jesus Christ, and may our work be a testimony to your faithfulness and love. May our labour be fruitful, and may your name be glorified in all we do.

We pray for your blessing and prosperity in our endeavours, and may we be like Nehemiah, passionate and dedicated to your vision. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray, Amen.
