Notorious Ghanaian cyber troll and blogger, Albert Nat Hyde, known on social media as Bongo Ideas is calling for help.

Last month, news broke about an alleged abduction of the blogger which was initially said to be an arrest by the police or the National Security following his criticism of the President’s wife.

However, the two security forces denied arresting him with the police revealing that a family source has informed them he had been at home.

Following a brief hiatus from social media, Bongo Ideas was seen in a DW news editorial explaining how the people who abducted him blindfolded him and at a point, told him to say his last prayer.

Throwing more light on it in an interview with Captain Smart on his Onua Maakye show on Wednesday, April 3, Bongo Ideas said “I no longer feel safe here, so I've written to ECOWAS, UN, African Union, Amnesty International and other human rights bodies but they are yet to get back to me. I would feel safe if I were living in a gated community or somewhere that people don't know.”

He continued, saying “My community is open but I should live in an enclosed community where my security is guaranteed, it will be better for me because for people to break into your room and pull you out is something else. Now I don't sleep at the same place twice.”
